Hey! So driving to work today, I think I found my positive attitude again!
I was kinda just letting my mind wander while listening to some good music and manuevering through the beginning of rush hour traffic. I started making a list of things that I am thankful for. So for Thanksgiving, I have decided that I will make a list of things I am thankful for in my life. Look out for that post -> COMING NEXT WEEK <3
So, it is officially winter here in Minnesota. Snow storm over the weekend led to a lot of people re-learning how to drive. Thankfully when I had to venture out, I did not skid, slip, or slide. I made it to my destination safely! Thats one of my main concerns when driving in the winter. Just keep in mind, if the roads are bad, go slow and dont slam on your brakes! Or just stay in and drink some hot cocoa while reading a good blog :)
Anyways, I have decided to do some major changes here with this blog as well as my others. The changes for this blog include layout and design, frequency of posts, and also I would really like to find some people to contribute to the content! So send me some feedback if you like the changes!

The Wedding Can Couple
This couple is amazing! Not only are they creatively coming up with funds to pay for their wedding, but they are going green and helping are Earth along the way.
Pete and Andrea have recycled 400,00 cans in the Spokane, Washington area. They started the blog weddingcans.com to show the progress. Many cans have been donated to them, and they are still accepting donations. All the donations they receive now will go to their honeymoon fund (40% of donations) and to charity(60% of donations). Their wedding was on Saturday July 31st, 2010.
Congratulations to both Pete and Andrea! I wish you both the best of luck! Thanks for the inspiration!! Keep making the world a beautiful place for us all!!

contributing to mother nature
Hey followers!
I am so busy trying to get stuff organized. I am trying to live a little bit greener life. I am preparing to have a garage sale and I am also starting to recycle my soda cans. I also buy a lot of items from the thrift store (good deals & less damaging effects on the environment by creating more products). Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!! I love it.
Anyhow, with that being said, I am also busy trying to find a place to live and trying to find a better job and preparing to go back to school...I need your help to keep this blog up! I am looking for contributors for this blog. If you have an optimistic outlook on life and believe you can find a positive in every situation and want to write about it, email me for more information. cassandravacha515@gmail.com please put typically positive as the subject.

Tiki Treasures
Hello, Hello, Hello, to all of my awesome readers out there in the blogging world!!
Sorry it has been a long while since the last time I posted anything. I have been so busy working both of my jobs, I barely have time for myself these days!! Speaking of my jobs, I actually picked up more hours at my one job. I work for the local Census Bureau as a Crew Leader Assistant. Fun job, much of which is classified as confidential. My other job is with the local Lions Club. I am a Bar Bingo Seller and just recently also became a Pulltab Seller as well. Tonight is actually my first night selling pulltabs by myself. It is pretty easy and fun. The bar I am actually selling in tonight is a new bar that just opened up last week. It is a Caribbean inspired restaurant. It is called Mango Tango, island restaurant and tiki bar. It is a pretty fun place, with reggae music playing all night. I most definately have to say I love the atmosphere because it just reminds me of being on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!!
Anyways, just the other day I got a new laptop. So, I figure that since I will be bored at work during slow times at least twice a week, I should be able to update this blog at least once a week!
Hope everyone has a fabulous day.
Peace and Love!!

Creatively Positive
I have been so busy with work lately. Its insane. I have little to no free time. But, while work was slow today, I got to thinking about creating a positive atmosphere for my life. I have been looking at a lot of uplifting quotes today, which I plan to incorporate into art work. I will share these quotes with you as time goes on. Hopefully, you will be as inspired as I am to live your life to the fullest extent.

I am looking for people with similar goals to be in a support group with me. Since this is a hard thing to do, your help will make it easier. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Dear Frank.....Part 2

Still running strong, even though we are running low on fuel. No money to fill up the tank until we finally get the paycheck. Let's drive as far away on this last quarter tank of gas that we can get. Off into the sunset, on the open road! I am ready to drive off into the country! Let's go Frank, Zoom Frank Zoom!
The Sun Shines So Bright...My Shadows Begin To Fade...
Hello Sunshine!!!!
The weather has been absolutely beautiful. The sunshine always puts a smile on my face! I have a self-diagnosed case of seasonal depression, but as soon as I see those magnificent glowing rays of light falling to the Earth, my spirits are lifted.
Part of my reason for starting this blog is to collect my positive thoughts, that way when I am feeling the SAD days in the future winters, I will have a little positivity and hope. Hopefully this will inspire people to something similar.

The Possibilities Are Endless :)
Okay, so I have a few short things to talk about today.
First, I will start with a story. The other day I got a Facebook friend request from someone that I did not know personally. Not all that unusual, I know. But the really cool part was, it was somebody who had found one of my really old blogs and liked it. I only had 3 posts on this blog and all of them were dated like 6 to 7 years ago. So, I thought it was really cool that somebody enjoyed reading it. Moral of the story, even if you don't get results right away in whatever project you are working on, never give up hope, the possibilities are endless! Its just a matter of time and effort ;)
Second thing on my mind, is about my blogs on this site. Since I got that facebook request, I directed the person to my main blog on this site, Typically Cassandra. Then, I realized that I hadnt blogged in nearly 2 months. I had quite a few comments on all of my blogs. All of your encouragement, thoughts, and comments made my day :) Anyhow, one person contacted me about linking this blog and their blog together because we have similar ideas and it would be beneficial to both of us. I contacted them back and so waiting on a reply at the moment. But hopefully, this will work out well.
I am feeling inspired right now, and actually already working on another post :)

Dear Frank (My 1999 Ford Taurus)

You are a simply amazing piece of machinery. You are strong and can get through nearly anything, considering the amount of miles on you! You always get me from point A to point Z. I can't thank you enough for putting up with me for the past two years. Hopefully, our relationship will last for many more years to come!
Love,
Cassandra

Message In a Bottle
If you could send a message in a bottle, what would your message say?
I think that my message would be as follows:
Dear Bottle Finder,
The world is a rocky confusing place, but don't let it knock you down! Let the sun shine upon your face and spread a little bit of optimism today!
Cassandra
That would be the short version. The long version of my message in a bottle would be basically like shoving all of my journals, poetry, and creative projects into one single bottle.

Ray Of Sunshine
How is it possible to stay positive when you feel like the entire world is crashing down on you???
This is a question that most of us ask ourselves at one point or another in time. Obviously, all of us cope differently in hard times. Here is a list that of ways that have worked for me:
Please feel free to add questions, comments, or your own items to the list I started!
“Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you.”
This is a question that most of us ask ourselves at one point or another in time. Obviously, all of us cope differently in hard times. Here is a list that of ways that have worked for me:
- Confide in a friend, family member, or significant other.
- Listen to some "feel good" music that makes me nostalgic.
- Create a list of all the things I am thankful for in my life. Usually with this one, I keep the list displayed in a visible place or keep it handy for when the blues strike again.
- Take a deep breath.
- Journal, Journal, Journal!
- Write or read poetry.
Please feel free to add questions, comments, or your own items to the list I started!
